Missing and murdered Indigenous women

The missing and murdered Indigenous women epidemic (MMIW) is an issue currently affecting Indigenous people in Canada and the United States, including the First Nations, Inuit, Métis (FNIM), and Native American communities. It has been described as both a national crisis and an act of genocide. #mmiw

This project is inspired by Breaking Bad’s Gonzo.

We are raising funds to create a parody of two iconic stories that everyone loves, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. Fans of both popular franchises have been theorizing why these two stories, and their characters, may actually exist in the same universe.

Here are some key examples of Easter eggs that have inspired this fan theory all over the Internet, and the crossover concept that inspired our Breaking The Dead parody:

In The Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon goes back to where he last saw his brother, Merle. Upon doing so, Daryl finds Merle’s ziplock baggy of drugs, which contains a bag of blue Meth on the bottom right corner.

In The Walking Dead, the character known as the Mayor, who wears an eye patch, states, “Even Heisenberg is dead now.”

In The Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon always refers to his brother’s drug dealer as a young punk that always says, “Yo’ bitch.”

Another fact the theory hammers home relates to the car Walt buys Walt Jr (RJ Mitte) in Breaking Bad Season 4, which is nearly identical to the one driven by a fresh-faced Glenn (Steven Yeun) back in The Walking Dead Season 1 (they both have two black stripes on the front).

Evidence supporting the theory doesn’t stop there: when Skylar (Anna Gunn) orders Walt to take the car back, he brings it to “Glenn’s Car Lot.” Yeah, really.

Then there’s the song in the third season of Fear the Walking Dead. Madison (Kim Dickens) and Qualtega (Michael Greyeyes) walk into a market where the song “Negro y Azul: The Ballad of Heisenberg” is playing in the background – the same track which featured in Breaking Bad Season 2.

Funds raised will be used for the production of this film short, which will be approximately 10 minutes long. Please make your donations as soon as possible as funding is necessary and we are eager to get this project off the ground immediately.

A crossover parody such as this has been a long-awaited and highly anticipated project so your support is much needed and highly appreciated. We are extremely grateful for anything you can do to help with your donations and funding.

U.S. Senate votes against calling witnesses in Trump impeachment trial, clears way for acquittal

Come November, the Republican Party is dead in the water. No one is going to trust the Republican conservative right-wing mentality after branding this kind of irrational and indelible stain on the Senate. At this point, Republicans have become a permanent corporate-funded enemy of the people.
